FAQ

1 – How do I know if communication is a weak point in my business or company?

There are some signs that indicate something isn’t working properly: difficulties in understanding among employees, information or tasks shared only with a small group, clients or employees who feel unheard, etc.     After the first consultation, we define together the type of approach to identify the root causes of these issues and determine which strategies should be applied to correct them.

2 – How long does communication consulting take, and how soon will I see results?

It depends on the size of the company, the number of employees, and the type of issue detected. In some cases, a one-day workshop with a specific department can resolve the issue. In other situations, it may be necessary to work with all employees gradually, in separate and targeted sessions

3 – I’m a self-employed professional. How can I improve my communication or concentration?

We offer personalized coaching. Individual guidance allows for constant feedback and a more targeted approach based on your unique characteristics. Sessions can be scheduled during the week or on weekends in 4-hour blocks.

4 – I’m very interested in participating in Semana de Estudos (Study Week )Project. What is required? Can I participate even as a dentist?

To participate in  Semana de Estudos (Study Week) you must be at least 18 years old and have intermediate to advanced English skills. Since the program involves international organizations, candidates must go through a selection process, which includes completing a form and an interview. If accepted, participants must agree to all program requirements (safety procedures and instructions from the organizations) via a signed contract. The program is open to professionals from any field, including dentistry. 5 – I want to promote my business outside Brazil. Is cross-cultural training really necessary?

While online research provides information about other countries, information is not enough depending of  the purpose of your trip:

  • Are you just surveying the market and staying in a hotel for a week?
  • Meeting potential buyers and negotiating prices and deadlines?
  • Looking for representatives to sell your product?
  • Seeking partners or shareholders?

Also, consider language barriers: not all countries accept English in all situations.

For some situations, research apps may help. But without knowing the cultural codes and how things work locally, you risk returning empty-handed or creating the wrong impression. Being prepared prevents mistakes and awkward situations.

6 – How long does cross-cultural training take? I don’t have much time before my trip.

Cross-cultural training can be delivered in groups (if traveling with colleagues) as a one-day workshop, or individually in 2–3 weekly sessions, depending on the purpose of your trip.

7 – I’m very distracted and interested in concentration training. Some friends are also interested. Can we form a group?

Yes! The one-day workshop is ideal for groups of up to 10 people. It can also be scheduled on a weekend if weekdays are not convenient.

8 – How does the Debate Series work? I’d like to organize sessions on interesting topics at my company after work hours

You can even choose the topics. Our role is to bring specialists from different fields to approach the subject from their own expertise, answer questions, and interact with the audience

For example, if the topic is Latin America, each session could cover a different aspect: Historical, Economic, Geographic, Political, Commercial, Cultural, Legal, Musical, Artistic, etc. This allows participants to understand the subject from multiple perspectives.
